PRAYER DIARY – Week commencing 6th February
Monday: As you take time to read about World news, pray that God would fill you with compassion for those who are less fortunate than yourself. Also pray for all those who are taking part in the Marriage Course that God would strengthen them as both individuals and couples.
Tuesday: This evening remember the new Youth Alpha course that is running in Walsall, last week there was over 25 young people all gathered together to learn more about Jesus, pray that their minds are opened to the beauty of who He is.
Wednesday: Let us remember all the different activities that are run by our wider parish today. Pray for Evan and Joan for all the work that their churches do, pray also for Gary Daniel at the Hothouse and the amazing work that they do there. Thank God that there is so much love being ministered in His name across Aldridge.
Thursday: Tonight as the Bell Ringers practice, please remember how our church, to many, is a beacon of hope. As the sound of the bells draws attention to the church, may too the attention of our community be drawn back to God.
Friday: AYF night: - Thank God for the work that has been done over the years by so many for the youth of Aldridge. Let us thank God for all that He is doing in the youth now and also in the future.
Saturday: This evening is Thirsty: An Evening of Worship and Prayer being led by Oli Nicholls. Pray that people are able to engage with God and that the broken might find healing in Christ’s name.
Sunday: God is good and His mercies endure forever. Let’s take a moment to reflect on who He is and what He has done for us as we come into His presence today. Ask God to anoint all those taking part in today’s services across our Parish remembering those at Tynings Lane, St Thomas’ and the Hothouse as they lead us in our worship of Him.
Also, through the week please pray for those who are unwell, including Abraham and Cecilia Bubb, Derek Cowdrey, Jill Drake, Becki Emery, Rhoda Glasse, Isobel Haywood, Una Hill, Brian Palmer, Joyce Rotchford and Linda Titley. Pray too for those who have been bereaved recently, remembering the family and friends of Pauline Day, and Muriel Booth.
