HAVE YOU HEARD THE ANGELS SING?

Angels will be swinging from the rafters and climbing the walls

at St Thomas’ Church in Aldridge on Saturday 17^th December 2005 as the building hosts an exhibition of hundreds of angels. Alongside the exhibition there will be angel-themed performances of songs, music and readings, a prayer-space and refreshments. The exhibition will also have an outward focus as visitors are invited to ‘Be an angel’ to others and make a donation to Tearfund’s work with those affected by the Tsunami last Christmas time

The exhibition will be the culmination of a joint initiative between the church and Leighswood Primary School.  Children from the school and local community groups have been busy creating angels of different shapes and sizes for the display. They have also been learning about the history of angels, angels in different cultures and the role of angels in the Christmas story.

Visitors are invited to come and see the heavenly host between 1pm and 4pm.
