| On Sunday March 5th 2006 Aldridge
Parish Church introduced projector & screen technology into our worship.
For some time now this has been a longing of many people, to discover
new ways of moving our church forward in creative ideas of worship and
proclaiming the gospel of Christ. A video camera was also in use which
can reach most parts of the church, enabling all to see what's going on
even if sitting behind a pillar! We are so grateful to Mark Trimmer (and his team) who has researched and organised and presented this to the church, and seeing it in use today for the first time was very exciting. Thank you too for all those who gave to this project. Through all of you this has now become reality. Thank you. We are extremely grateful to all our technicians who week by week enable us to hear clearly and now to see clearly as well. If you are interested in joining the team of people needed to operate this technology, please have a word with Mark or one of the wardens. |
