Hello friend,

The story continues. I am glad you are there to share the adventure. Thank you for caring and praying.

Already I am seeing evidence of God walking this path ahead of me.  Dr Bell has referred me to Dr Richie Gillespie.  She is God's choice for a doctor experienced in all kinds of surgery involving tumors of muscle and bone.  What is even more amazing is that she herself and the hospital she operates from are listed by my insurance company!  Wow, God is good.

On Monday I will take the MRI pictures to Fort Worth and meet the doctor.  Her office staff tell me that she is planning a biopsy of the lump on Tuesday. That would have to happen in the hospital but should be an out patient procedure for me.  I will then have to wait for the results from that to determine if this tumour is benign or malignant.  That result is not going to change the fact that some time in the next few weeks I'll be having major surgery on my arm. What it will change is what happens after the surgery.

My dear friends, Val and Brian Hodgkin, who attended the retreat and have been visiting with me, are leaving today.  At this point Val is planning to return here around the 17th November to help me with the post operative recovery period.  Please pray for them both as they work out this unexpected change to their furlough plans.

It is wonderful to know that I can count on your prayers in these coming weeks as this journey continues.

Much love,
June.
