As we draw to a close our own personal ministry in Paraguay, we hope
that all of you who have so faithfully supported in prayer the work
here, will continue to do so over the coming months and years! The
Prayer Calendar will continue to be sent out! We will give more details
along the way. It is a strange time for us and until we are actually on
the plane, we'll probably not fully recognize that we are leaving! The
need to pray for the "in between" time before the arrival of the next
bishop is vital, as is of course, prayer for the person of God's choice
to continue the episcopal ministry here.
As many of you have asked, we would advise that, for the time being, the
Discretionary Fund will continue as a separate account in our HSBC bank
and we will re-deposit different amounts to whoever is in charge of
particular areas of work. Hopefully that will be for a brief time only!
Mags Southern (deputy Head of St. Andrew's School) is our Diocesan
Treasurer and will have the overall necessary "eye" on financial

verses at the head of the calendar assure us of God's overall authority
& faithfulness to his people. So our prayer for the church in Paraguay
and for each of you as prayer partners is that " The grace (God's
glorious riches through Christ) of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your
spirit."
