On wednesday 11th May 2005, about 40 men from the Aldridge Churches got together for a Men's Fellowship Curry Evening.

The catering was by John Henn from The Parlour in Walsall and it really was an excellent meal. Thank you.  After a tremendous curry, Colin Flenley talked to us about his work as a GP in Aldridge, and how he interacts with his faith in the work place. He had some fascinating stories to tell and it was most enlightening and entertaining.

After Colin spoke, Lee Plummer spoke to us about how and why he (and his wife Becky) is giving up a 'successful' secure career as an RE teacher at a Sutton School, to go to the other side of the world to work for God in a foster home in China, living by faith.

This was a great evening, and our thanks go to Kevin Ivory & Keith Callear for all their hard work in putting it on for us.
