September 2006

Dear Prayer Partners,

How quickly the months pass and with all the activity that represents, we know how much we need to pray and also know that others are praying for us.  God's timing is perfect and we have seen him supplying our needs and transforming situations time and time again.  We appreciate your interest and prayers and would ask you especially to hold Samuel Gonzalez in your thoughts and prayers. Earlier this month there seemed no hope at all and the doctors were preparing the family to say good bye.  The 5th dose of drugs was not having any effect, but suddenly there was a dramatic improvement and Samuel is now home again and we hope that it may be possible for him to complete the course.  Only God knows his purposes for Samuel so we continue to pray for God's will to be done in his life and that ( as one elderly optomotrist prayed ) "the beams of His light, that are more powerful than any injection, may burn out and heal whatever needs to be removed in his body".  It's a stressful time for Sara and the family. Please remember them also. With our love and greetings, John and Judie.
