Today (8th December) was Jenny Hopley's birthday. It was not just an ordinary birthday, but a very special one and being a gentleman, it bars me from divulging just how old Jenny is today...but you won't believe it!! Maxine had made a fantastic cake and presents and cards were flying in from all sorts of people. The staff team had clubbed together to buy Jenny a comfortable leather chair for the office (yawn!) but it was well received and much appreciated. I am reliably informed that it won't encourage Jenny to stay at work longer than she needs! On a serious note, nobody knows just how hard Jenny works in the life of our church and her efficiency and energy is well known. Thank you Jenny for all you do for us, we really do appreciate you and hope you had a had a fantastic day. Nigel is whisking Jenny off to London for the weekend and we hope they both have a thoroughly enjoyable time. As you will see from one of the photos, we hope Santa brings Jenny all she wants!
