 Confirmation 2005

An Anglican Church in the Lichfield Diocese

Sunday 20th November was a very special day in the life of Aldridge Parish Church. At 5pm five teenagers and one adult were baptised by full immersion at Tynings Lane Church. The service was conducted by Richard Cornfield, Rector of Aldridge.

Following that, at Aldridge Parish Church, 15 teenagers were then confirmed in their faith by the Bishop of Wolverhampton, Bishop Mike, together with 7 adults. 2 more rededicated their life to Christ and it was a very special occasion.

Family & friends packed the church for this confirmation service and it was just so encouraging seeing this number of people witnessing to the whole church family and the community, that they were followers of Christ.

The service can be listened to by clicking here

Below are a selection of photographs of this very special time, together with some statements from the candidates.
