On Sunday 18th December, we held our Christingle and our evening carols by candlelight service. Two Christingle services were held in the morning and both were very special occasions. Jean Elliott gave an excellent talk on the Chronicles of Narnia and young and old enjoyed worshipping God in this way. Below are a few pictures of what went on. At 6.30pm we held out carols by candlelight service and well over 350 people packed into church to hear some wonderful music from our church choir; carols were sung and Bible readings took us through the Christmas story. Jenny Cornfield gave a superb talk on 'The Magnificat' giving an excellent opportunity for people to respond to the gospel.
