discuss with you our policies and procedures for ensuring the safety
of our young people and children.
Any concerns regarding the welfare and
safety of any child or young person whilst in the churches care must
be reported as soon as possible to Lynne who is nominated by the
church council to act on its behalf.
Under no circumstances should a church
worker or volunteer or member of the public carry out their own
investigations into the
allegation or suspicion of abuse.
In the absence of the coordinator or if the
coordinator is implicated then the contact person is Rev Richard
Cornfield. (see number below) Advice can be given by any of the
other numbers.
Training sessions are held regularly to
ensure all workers with our children and young people are familiar
with the procedures and understand the importance of working to best
practice at all times.
