| Bishop John & Judie Ellison visit Aldridge - 16th January 2005 |
| On sunday 16th
January 2005, Bishop John & Judie Ellison spent the day with us at
Aldridge Parish Church. John was Rector of Aldridge for 5 years during the 1980's and is now Bishop of Paraguay. click for a link to their group page John & Judie have been in England since December and it was so good to have them join us for both the morning and evening services. During the morning John spoke to us about the country they serve God in, which was preceded by an all age talk by Judie on 'opening doors' Afterwards we had a church
family lunch, and we are so grateful to those who worked so hard for us
in preparing an excellent meal. It has been a great day and we
do appreciate them coming and being able to catch up with their news. |
