On Sunday 18th July at 11 am the Aldridge Churches came together at the Rosie Ross Walk on the airfield off
Bosty Lane in aldridge for an open air service, led by the Rector of Aldridge, Richard Cornfield.

It was a very special occasion where we heard the story of Jonah and the Whale told to us by Sue Fung (Parish Church)
with short talks from Gary Daniel (The HotHouse) and Revd Evan Cockshaw (Minister from St.Thomas Church).
Jo Ralphs and Steve Harrison (Tynings Lane Church) led us in some prayers and we had a worship band with musicians from
different churches. All in all, a lovely occasion where the rain held off (just!) and was supported by approximately 200 people.
Towards the end of the service, (see uTube clip) a tribute was paid to Rosie from Sarah Elstob
(a school friend who knew her) and it was a very special moment.
We are very grateful to Karen and Sean Ross for allowing this event to happen.
