On Maundy Thursday 9th April 2009, APC held a Passover Meal.
100 people attended a sit down meal, similar to the one that Jesus would have presided over on the night before he died.
Richard Cornfield & Matt Wallace led us through what was on each table and what was the significance of each food and item.
This was a fascinating insight into the culture & customs of the day, and just a little of what it might
have meant for those there over 2000 years ago.
We watched a Power Point presentation and movie clip that Richard & Matt had prepared, explaining
to us what would have happened, and why. It was a most informative evening.
A fantastic lamb meal was cooked for us by the 'FIT' team, and we are immensely grateful to Ruth Bryant
and ALL of the team for serving such wonderful food, and making the evening so special.
