It was great on Sunday afternoon, (22nd February 2009) for families and their children to join together to remember God in
messy crafts and worship and also to have fellowship together with baked potatoes and fillings.  There were lots of Crafts to
remind us of the bible story of when Jesus spent time in the desert and how he was tempted and about us
giving things up for Lent. The crafts included decorating stones and bread and making flowers, door hangers and other crafts.

A great deal of effort was put into the afternoon and we are so thankful for Sue Fung and her team of helpers, from members of the
congregation in church to YF, that put so much hard work into making this event happen, and families and children loved the event.

I (Jo Yarnall) can honestly encourage everyone to attend it when they run the next "Messy Church" as not only was it great
fun but their was a real presence of God that was their throughout the afternoon through the fellowship between everyone.
