On Saturday 11th July 2009 Aldridge Parish Church held a farewell curry evening for Matt & Gemma Wallace.
Matt is part of the staff team at APC as it's Youth Coordinator, and Gemma as a YF leader, but this lovely couple
were involved in so much more than just youth work in the life of our church family.
 Matt is now an ordinand, and both he and Gemma will be leaving after the summer to live in Bristol, as Matt starts his 'vicar' training.
The gifts this fantastic couple brought to our church family are immeasurable and they are going to be so sadly missed.

Words here cannot express what we all feel as they move on. Every now and again a very 'special couple' becomes part
of your life and bring with it a richness that is hard to put into words and describe. Matt & Gemma did that, and what a difference
it made to so many of us, young and old alike.
We know they are following God's calling and that's been a joy to see and be a part of but it's hard to see such an amazing couple move on!

We wish them God's richest blessings, and know that the next place God leads them to will also be enriched by
their qualities both as individuals and as a married couple.
