"Just got back from church and the amazing prayer event..! It is
awesome...very inspiring...the half hour we intended turned into a
good hour as there are so many things to inspire you to pray. I
could have stayed all day and prayed ..no problem! Someone has
obviously devoted a lot of time to prepare for us to go and
pray...and there are cards to read and inspire prayer everywhere so
you find plenty to pray about. I especially liked the packet of
'Hula Hoops' where you pray
for things you are involved with etc as you eat each one...I will never
eat a packet of crisps the same again, its amazing how many things
you think of to
pray as you eat them. Have to find the time to go back before it
ends....its such an easy way to go and pray....
If you haven't already been...then do go...kick off your
shoes...relax... and spend some wonderful time with God for yourself
and others...it's awesome!"

"A huge thank you is due to Matt Wallace and anyone who helped him
to prepare our church for the prayer event taking place now.
If you haven't been yet, do try to get along today or tomorrow - you
will be blessed, encouraged and provoked as you take time out of
your day to enjoy the peace
in our church and reflect on whatever the Lord might be saying to you
through such a wonderful range of creative scenarios that reflect
our homes. Whether you enjoy quietly contemplating what you find in
good Christian books or you prefer something more interactive there
is something there for everyone, young, old, long time Christian or
new believer. Events like this don't just happen. They are the
result of much prayer, thought and preparation. So thank you Matt."

Our special
'HOME' prayer event is underway and is just great!
Matt Wallace has set the church up with four prayer stations
depicting our lives at home. Through the stations there are
items to help us pray creatively and directly.
(You can just sit quietly on your own, you won't be asked to
pray with anyone!)
You
really have to get along to fully appreciate just what
has been done,
so drop in at any time (details below) for 5minutes or 5 hours!
Below are a few pictures and a virtual tour to whet your
appetite!
Thursday (today) 3pm - 9pm
Friday 9am -9pm
Saturday 8am - 6pm
(there
will be a communion at 5pm)
