On Thursday 20th September 2007 the held their third event of the year at Calderfields Golf Club.
Cyrille Regis, ex professional footballer for WBA, Villa, Wolves and Coventry, who also played for England, was our guest speaker.

 After a top quality meal in excellent surroundings, Matt Wallace interviewed Cyrille about his playing career and his faith.
Cyrille shared in great detail about his life in the game, and then very gently and naturally told us how the death of a close footballing friend, who died in a car accident in Spain, had a tremendous impact on his life and as a result
he made a commitment of faith to Christ, and is still following him at the age of 49.

There were emotional moments as we listened to Cyrille's story and what came across was his sincerity
and genuineness and his testimony touched many there.  All in all, a top quality evening!
