On Saturday 2nd December our Pastoral team put on a special lunch for some members of our church family who are 'carers'
Many of our church family look after their own personal family members or friends, whether it be in a short/long term illness situations.
This can sometimes be very tiring and often quite stressful, and so the Pastoral team thought it would be good to 'pamper the carers!'
This was just such a lovely initiative and so well received. An excellent cooked umpteen course meal was served
and was just so special to be waited upon, and treated in this way. Our sincere thanks for all the hard work.
 
Dr Colin Flenley then gave a talk on how the carers can best look after themselves and practical advice on the care agencies and resources that are available.
