Something to give thanks for and something to pray for:

Prayer request:
Over the last couple of month three of the houses that back on to the college where we live  have been robed at gunpoint and several other people have also been help up in the same way on the road outside the college. As you can imagine this has been very traumatic for those involved, especially those in the house as the ordeal last several hours. Please pray that God might intervene.

Something to give thanks for:
Last night at about 11pm someone set fire to part of the college ground (see pictures). Having not had rain for months the fire spread rapidly, not helped as it took about half an hour for a fire engine to turn up and discover that it had a broken pump which meant another half hour wait for the next engine to arrive. Praise God that the wind stopped as the fire reached the back walls of some of the houses so that this morning we just have a large black area that yesterday trees and grass were growing.
