PRAYER

Rev.1:8 “I am the Alpha and Omega” sys the Lord God, “who is, and was, and who
is to come, the Almighty.”
1 As January is the summer holiday month when schools & universities are closed, pray for true rest & refreshment for all the clergy & lay leaders; and for all the St. Andrew’s & the Annexe school & FEISA staff, together with their families.
2 Pray for the many SAMS Mission partners who are visiting families & link churches in the UK & Ireland. For restoration of health for Eileen Trew’s mother & for Samantha Parsons as she grieves the loss of her father. For Fiona Cooper as she prepares to come to Paraguay to join the FEISA team here
3 Pray for the Chaco pastors & leaders as they stay in their communities, that they may have times of rest & the opportunity to receive from the Lord in a less busy schedule.
4 Pray for God’s protection on the young people & children in the Chaco villages, especially with the ever present temptation of alcohol being sold by traders who enter their communities.
5 Pray for Salomon & Magdalena, lay leaders in the congregation in Remansito & for the Saturday Children’s Club. Pray too for Epifania, who recently had an operation to remove a fragment of metal from her left eye. Give thanks for donations to the discretionary fund which made that possible & pray for restored sight.
6 Pray for the group of young people travelling by land from Paraguay to Santa Cruz in Bolivia to take part in the Provincial Youth Camp. For safety in travel & a time of spiritual challenge & refreshment. For those leading & speaking at the Camp.

For good family time for the Metcalfe family during this summer month as they adjust to Luciana’s arrival.
